PowerFlow EA follows a grid strategy that is based on a trend following system. By using a multiplier on each grid level a martingale element can be added as well.
To allow the EA to open a new basket two independent trend indicators on different time frames have to confirm the presence of a trend and an overbought/oversold indicator has to indicate the end of a price correction within that trend. An additional news filter prevents the EA from opening new baskets shortly before and after the release of economic news.
The developers provide two different set files for each currency pair, however, these settings can be modified and adjusted by the user and also used on other than the recommended currency pairs. PowerFlow EA allows the free configuration of up to 30 grid levels, the trend indicators, news filters and even an automated hedge functionality.
